Enter your products for the 2010 IMHX Design 4 Safety Awards!

DEADLINE EXTENDED TO 17 SEPTEMBER

To ensure that ALL IMHX exhibitors have the chance to enter their products, the Awards organisers have extended the deadline to 17 September.

The IMHX Design 4 Safety Awards have been organised by IMHX owners BITA (the British Industrial Truck Association) and Quartz to highlight the importance of product design in improving safety standards.

Using the form below, ALL IMHX exhibitors are invited to nominate their products in one of four categories:

• Industrial Trucks
• Racking & Storage
• Automation
• Technology (Software & IT products)

Judging Criteria

Winners in each category will be judged by an independent panel of materials handling and health and safety experts.

The winning products and services will be those which provide the strongest evidence of a measurable contribution to the level of safety awareness, or rate of incident reduction, achieved by the design feature.

By focusing on ‘design for safety’, innovative thinking will be recognised regardless of product type or cost.

How to enter

Each company may enter as many products in as many categories as it wishes, but no company will be able to win in more than one category. To provide the necessary evidence, use the form below.

Each entry needs to include:

• Name of the product proposed
• Category entered
• Citation (150 words maximum) highlighting the key safety design feature that you believe makes it a potential award winner. Note: this should include the necessary evidence unless you wish to attach a separate document as per the option below.
• One high-resolution image in either JPEG or GIF format, up to 2MB in size.
• One additional supporting document as a PDF or Word file, up to 2MB in size. Note: this could be an existing product literature sheet, or a bespoke document
• The internet address (URL) of additional online resources (e.g. images or video footage) that support your entry.

Dates

• The closing date for entries is 17 September 2010.
• Three products will be shortlisted per category. Shortlisted products will be published on this website from late September 2010.
• Overall winners in each category will be announced at a VIP IMHX Awards breakfast on 16 November 2010.
